Assembly

The procession will begin assembling at 8:45 a.m. on the first floor of Henry Crown Field House, 5550 S University Avenue. Please arrive no later than 9:15 a.m.

A light continental breakfast will be provided.

Coat Check

Staff will remain at Henry Crown Field House until 1:00 p.m. to monitor coats and valuables during the ceremony. Please note that the University of Chicago will not be responsible for items left after 1:00 p.m.

Attire

Faculty, Delegates, Presidents of University Alumni Governing Boards, and Alumni Medalists
The Faculty Party includes Alumni Medalists, Assistant Marshals, Clinical Educators, Delegates, Emeritus Faculty, Faculty, Presidents of University Alumni Governing Boards, and Senior Lecturers.

Academic dress is required. Arrangements to rent academic dress can be made through the University Bookstore, 970 East 58th Street, in person or by phone at 773/702-7558. Your height, weight, and hat size/head circumference will be needed. To ensure delivery and accuracy, all orders must be placed by Friday, October 13th, 2006.

Attire will be available for pickup on the second floor of the Bookstore on the following dates:

• Wednesday, October 25th – 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Thursday, October 26th – 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Friday, October 27th – 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, rented academic attire may be returned to Henry Crown Field House until 1:00 p.m. or the second floor of the University Bookstore until 6:00 p.m.

President’s Party
The President’s Party includes the Deans, Dean of the Chapel, Faculty Speaker, Honorary Degree Recipients and their Sponsors, Marshal, Officers, President, Presidents Emeriti, President of Student Government, President of the Alumni Association Board of Governors, Provost, Registrar, Trustees, University Medalists, and Vice-Marshal.
